Equine Photography Sessions
1. Share Your Story
The Intro Call
The first time we meet, I’ll come to you—the benefit of a local Ohio equine photographer.*
We’ll dive into your story and finalize the session plan together. I’ll even help you plan what to wear so you can walk into your session with confidence.
We’ll look at your home together and plan images and art to complement your decor.
Then, you book your session & secure your date with a $400 deposit.*
Your deposit is a 100% photo and print credit. No set packages —you decide what’s best for you.
*No travel fee if under 50 miles from Solon, Ohio.
2. Capture Your Story
The Session
Now, it’s time to bring your story to life.
We’ll gather together at the place where you leave the chaos of the world behind you: your barn. Or, your pasture. Whatever that safe place is for you and your horse.
The session is typically 2 hours, but you can rest assured we aren’t racing against time.
My focus is making sure you and your horse are at ease so we can celebrate the love, acceptance, trust, and understanding that make your relationship unique.
3. Display Your Story
The Reveal
Through a thoughtfully planned in-person presentation, I’ll reveal your final images and help you select your favorites.
Together, we’ll order the images, prints, and keepsakes that will showcase your story for years to come. Instead of having your options limited through pre-selected packages, you get to decide what works best for you, your family, and your home. Don’t forget—you’ll have that $400 credit to use.
When your art is prepared, I’ll give it a thorough quality check and personally deliver it to you for an official unveiling.

Your Questions Answered
Can I have other family members and pets included in my session?
Our time together is about telling your story. Of course, the main part of the story is your horse, but there are other pieces as well. Family, dogs, together or separate, they are all part of what makes up your story and are welcome to join us. Your session fee includes two horses, but an additional $75 fee per horse is available to you as well.
What if my horse gets antsy?
We will take the time to let your horse calm down and relax. By not keeping our eyes on the clock, the overall energy of the session will be lower and create an environment where all participants are in a good space.
How much time do we have?
I invite clients to plan for at least 2 hours. At the same time, it’s important to know that during our time together, we will cast time to the wind. We need to do this to allow your story to appear in its raw and emotional form.
Clock-watching creates stress and doesn’t allow your true story to materialize in that raw format.
How many outfit changes can I do?
You can have as many outfit changes as you would like. Keep in mind that multiple outfit changes will take time away from telling your special story.
Do I need other people to assist with my horse during the photo shoot?
Although you are not required to have helpers during your session, most of my clients do. This allows us to focus on telling your story while you are relaxed and not trying to do it all by yourself.
What is your photography style that you use during your photo sessions?
Although I will do posed shots, my type of photography is more a lifestyle approach.
Posing, although beautiful, gives you a great image. Lifestyle allows your story to unfold and be told. Think of you and your horse in the barn at night. Just you and your horse, sharing, loving and having that special moment together. That’s what tells your story. That’s what I capture.
What if I don’t feel comfortable posing?
We will take the time to let you relax. Our time together will be fun and non-stressful. We want the real you, not the proper pose in the final images.
